6 Ways to Save Money at University

1) Steal all you can. Seriously. Electricity from power points on campus, condiments from the cafe's, milk, toilet roll, knives and forks. Anything and everything you can; they can afford it, you can't.

2) Do Not Throw Anything Away. Everything can be used; old clothes that don't fit can be cut apart and made anew. Big envelopes make brilliant storage systems; for putting old essays in or spare bits of paper. Even those crappy flyers can be used, for decorations if nothing else, or cutting them into pretty shapes and using them as cards.

3) Food. Wasting food is one of the easiest ways to lose money. Easy ways to avoid losing money on food include writing lists of the expiriation dates, and sticking it on your fridge. That way you can keep track of when to stick stuff in the freezer, or eat it up. Making pack lunches may be childish, but probably one of the best ways to save money for when you get hungry and don't have time to pop home.

4) Brew your own alcohol...

5) Turn lights and plugs off. This one's pretty obvious.

6) Befriend people in art/physics/architectual departments. Similar to number 1), but slightly different; they steal for you. So you will never run out of paper, protracters and what not. Also people doing I.T, as they usually have free printer credit. This actually is a very practical money saving idea, if you don't mind being totally heartless of course.
